1) Every International Student seeking admission in the
University of Pune & its affiliated Colleges must undergo
Medical Examination at Student's Health Service Scheme,
University Health Centre, University of Pune.
2) Medical Examination fees should be remitted by each
International Student through Bank Challan.
3) Medical Examination of the International students will be
conducted at
Students Health Service scheme,
Behind Health Centre,
University of Pune,
Pune - 7.
4) Blood sample for AIDS test will be collected by appointment.
The Students are instructed to report at:
Students Health Service scheme,
Behind Health Centre,
University of Pune,
Pune - 7.
5) Medical Examination will be conducted after collection of
blood Sample.
6) Following documents should be produced at time of Medical
Examination:
i. Eligibility Letter or Admission Letter with Case Number.
ii. Bank Challan of Medical Test Fee
iii. Passport size photograph
iv. Xerox copies of Passport or citizenship card
7) After completion of medical check-up, results of the medical
check-up will be directly communicated to

Testing for "Hepatitis surface Antigen (HBsAg)/ Australia
Antigen"
The Management Council of the University of Pune has recently
accepted on the following:
Testing for "Hepatitis surface Antigen (HBsAg)/ Australia
Antigen" of every new International Student seeking admission to
University of Pune.
All the International students seeking admission in the
University of Pune are required to undertake Hepatitis B surface
Antigen (HBsAg) / Australia Antigen test which they may
performed in their respective countries failing which they will
have to undertake their test in India and a fees of US $ 10
would charged for the said test. (Note : Fees is subject to
change)
MEDICLAIM POLICY FOR THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The International Student's Centre, University of Pune is
introducing from this year (2003 - 2004) a Mediclaim policy that
is available to all International Students. It is advised that
all International Students take this policy due to the problems
and stress of modern living. This is voluntary. Each student
will have to pay US $ 75 per year for the following facilities
that this cover will include :
* An Insurance cover of Rs 1 lakh
Facilities offered by the Health Centre, University of Pune
- Help line.
- Laboratory Services
- ECG - Stress Test
- Fitness Centre
- Yoga Classes
