NOTE: One (1) seat of M.Sc. and two (2) seats of M.C.A. (within the respective intake capacity) are reserved for the PH (physically challenged) candidates subject to the availability of the students fulfilling the eligibility criteria as laid down by the University of Pune and the State Government of Maharashtra from time to time. |
The candidates are requested to note the following:
· Please note that merely attending the admissions round does not guarantee the confirmed admission to any course in the Department of Computer Science, UOP.
· Please satisfy yourself about the eligibility criteria before you attend the admissions round.
· The admission process will be carried out as per the Ordinance No. 181 of the University of Pune.
· The confirmed admissions will be processed as per the schedule of admissions round only, subject to the production of following documents in Original with One set of duly attested copies at the time of admissions.
1. H.S.C. Marklist
2. Bachelor degree final year marklist (in Original or a duly attested copy for admissions round only)
3. Caste certificate (if applicable)
4. Maharashtra Domicile certificate (Not applicable if the candidate has passed S.S.C. and H.S.C. examinations from the state of Maharashtra)
5. Non-creamy layer certificate (if applicable)
6. Caste validity certificate (if applicable)
· The candidates who do not possess the final year passing marklist in original or a duly attested copy of the same at the time of the admissions round will not be considered for the admission to any of the courses in Department of Computer Science, University of Pune.
· If more than one candidates have same score/merit number in the following merit list, then the merit amongst the present candidates will be prepared as per the norms/directives given in Ordinance No. 181 at the time of admissions round and accordingly the admissions process will be completed.
· THE FEES ARE TO BE PAID EITHER BY DEMAND DRAFT FROM NATIONALISED BANK IN FAVOUR OF “THE REGISTRAR, UNIVERSITY OF PUNE” OR IN CASH TO BE DEPOSITED IN THE BANK OF MAHARASHTRA PUNE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS BRANCH ON THE DAY OF ADMISSIONS ROUND, FAILING TO WHICH WILL RESULT INTO AUTOMATIC CANCELLATION FOR THE ADMISSION CLAIM.
IMPORTANT NOTE: THE CANDIDATES BELONGING TO RESERVED CATEGORIES, AND HOLDING THE APPROPRIATE CASTE CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY, SHALL BE EXEMPTED FROM PAYING THE FEES AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION AS PER THE DIRECTIVES ISSUED BY THE STATE GOVERNEMENT OF MAHARASHTRA AND THE UNIVERSITY OF PUNE. THE CANDIDATES BELONGING TO SC/ST/DT/NT CATEGORIES (FOR MCA) AND SC/ST CATEGORIES (FOR MSc) WILL HAVE TO PAY ONLY THE REGISTRATION FEES RS. 25/-.

# The Candidates admitted under these categories will have to sign an undertaking regarding payment of fees in either of the following situation:
i) State Govt. of Maharashtra stopped the financial support for these courses.
ii) The candidates has not submitted scholarship / free ship form in due course of time.
iii) The candidates has submitted the scholarship / free ship form but the State Govt. has rejected the case on some ground.
· Candidates seeking admissions to MCA program are requested to note that, one should have passed mathematics at the 10+2 level examination.
· No TA/DA will be paid by the University or the Department for attending the admissions round.
· The lists are prepared as per the information furnished by the candidates in their online application forms and are subject to the corrections before the first round of admissions, if any.
· The names of the candidates, who have been called for the first round of admissions and have not attended the same, will be automatically deleted from the merit list and as such, the claims of such candidates will not be considered for any subsequent rounds of admissions. The same is applicable to all rounds of admissions till the admission process is over.
