There is not any separate provision of scholarships for the Department, but the student may apply for the various Freeships & Scholarships by the Government and University.

1. Free Studentship for the E.B.C. (below annual income of Rs. 15,000/-), B.C., P.T.C. Students.

2. B.C. Scholarship for the S.C./S.T./D.N.T./Neo-Buddhist students.

3. National Merit Scholarship.

4. Govt. open merit scholarship by Govt. of Maharashtra.

5. Fellowship for the First 2 Rank holder studying for their M.Phil.

6. Rajiv Gandhi fellowship for SC/ST candidates ( M.Phil. & Ph.D.)

7. JRF/SRF for qualified students for same in the UGC exams.
