Schedule of Post Graduate / Interdisciplinary Courses (Online Entrance Exam) For Academic Year 2023-2024
- Start of Application: 10th May, 2023
- Last date of filling Online Application(regular Fee) : 17th June, 2023 (11.59 pm)
- Last date of filling Online Application with Late Fee: 8th July, 2023 (11.59 pm)
- Schedule of OEE : Detailed schedule of date & time of each exam and mode of exam published on website:View Notification
- Duration of the Online Entrance Exam: 2 Hour (Inclu. of both the sect.)
- Publication of result on the University: will be notified on university website
Admission procedure for M.A / M.Sc.
Every year the department admits 50 students for M.A./M. Sc. course on the basis of the performance of the applicants in entrance test and performance at the B.A./B Sc. Examination (with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination). For other than Pune university students, the admission is made on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test only. Entrance test is usually held in the month of June.
Admission procedure for P.G. B.Sc. (Applied) in GIS and RS:
Every year the department admits 30 students for PG. B. Sc. (Applied) in GIS and RS course. Students having obtained B.Sc. degree in any subject viz., B.Sc., B. Agri. B.A. (in mathematics / statistics), B. E., B. Tech., B. Arch., B. A. (in Geography with mathematics /statistics as one of the subsidiary subjects), M.A. (in Geography), Bachelor’s degree in computer science /applications/ management (with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination) are eligible to apply to the PG B.Sc. (Applied) in GIS & RS course. Admission is made through entrance test. Entrance test is usually held in the month of June.

Every year the department admits 30 students for M. Sc. Geoinformatics course. Students having obtained B.Sc. degree in any subject viz., B.Sc., B. Agri. B.A. (in mathematics / statistics), B. E., B. Tech., B.
