these contributions,
the Ministry
of AYUSH, Govt.
of India has
awarded Center
of Excellence
(CoE) status
with a grant
for a period
of 3 years.
AYUSH CoE project
is aimed at
human resource
development,
research capacity
building and
to demonstrate
AYUSH strengths
for management
of non-communicable
diseases by
developing national
and international
networks and
research collaborations.
The AYUSH CoE
project has
four major areas
of work as follows:

Establishing
a network
of research
institutes
working
in AYUSH
domain
-
Collaborative
research
project
on ‘Preclinical
study on
development
of therapeutic
adjuvants
based on
Ayurveda’
for Cancer
and Rheumatoid
Arthritis
-
Capacity
building
through
research,
fellowship
programs,
and credit
courses
along with
development
of e-learning
modules
-
Critical
analysis
of protocols,
policies
and guidelines
